We are finally getting caught up after 3 back-to-back Fly-Ins and many meetings in Mexico City and here in Puebla.

The latest information that we have from Rusty Henson is that the runway has been painted and that they were headed to Mexico City to meet with the DGAC and ask that the airport be opened now that they have met all of the latest requirements. This has been a very frustrating project for all of those involved and we hope that their efforts will be rewarded by the reopening of the airport.

Separately, there will be a Music Festival in San Miguel next month:

"Magic Town Music Festival runs two days, April 12 and April 13, 2014
A memorable weekend of live music, local food, art, and fun!"

We are unsure if the airport will be open by then but you can still easily reach San Miguel using Celaya (MMCY), Leon (MMLO) or Queretaro (MMQT). Attached is the flier, please download and visit!
