There is currently no AVGAS nor Jet A at the Governor's Harbour airport on Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Pilots planning to fly to the Bahamas should take note and plan their fuel accordingly.

Other airports in the area with fuel are North Eleuthera Intl Airport (MYEH) to the north.

We contacted the airport again today and there continues to be NO FUEL. Reports are that they will have it "shortly". Make sure that you plan your fuel needs accordingly.

We contacted the airport again today and did a little more investigating.

The company that used to provide fuel in Governor's Harbour, Earco Elite, has shut down and there has ben no news as to where they went nor when they will return. At this time the equipment has been abandoned and lays unmaintained. Therefore, it is unlikely that there will be any fuel at MYEM "soon" as we have been told.

If you are planning to fly to Eleuthera, the only airport with fuel at this time is the North Eleuthera Airport (MYEH) and the fuel is provided by the White Crown FBO. For fuel prices, visit the AOE and Fuel page of the member website.
