We were contacted by airport staff at MMSL yesterday to inform us that they now have a VOR at the airport which replaces the NDB which has now been decommissioned. The Instrument Approach Procedures (IAP) based on the new VOR will be published approximately around the end of January. This is good news for those that plan to fly IFR to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
