On January 06, 2024, at 9:00 am CST, The FAA Safety Team is hosting a webinar where the top representatives from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) General Aviation Headquarters and CST will participate to address important questions from General Aviation pilots. This is a unique opportunity to be able to hear directly from CBP headquarters on many important CBP topics affecting international GA operations.

Earlier this year, the same CBP representatives were at the CST booth at EAA Airventure for 3 days answering questions and interacting with pilots. The feedback we received from those pilots that took advantage of that opportunity was fantastic. This webinar will continue to give pilots the opportunity to get the facts and hear directly from CBP.
To ask a question, you have 3 options:

1) If you attended one of the 3 FAAST webinars in October and November of this year where CST made presentations, and you submitted a written question through the webinar portal regarding a CBP topic, those questions have already been compiled
2) You can send your question in advance of the CBP webinar to faa.smcw@yahoo.com Please put “Questions for CBP Webinar” in the subject line so that those emails can easily be flagged
3) You can submit your questions during the webinar using the Zoom media message option used by the FAA

We cannot guarantee that given the 1 hour time limit CBP will be able to answer ALL of the questions we receive but we are working hard to make sure that the most important ones are given priority. Questions can ONLY be submitted in writing, there will not be any open mics. Take advantage of this opportunity to dispel the myths, opinions, hangar talk and all the noise. Get the FACTS.

This webinar CANNOT be recorded for later reproduction (per policy), so mark the date and take advantage of this unique opportunity. The link to sign up will be available approximately 2 weeks before the webinar and I will come back to post the link here on the forum as soon as it is available. Or, you can contact us at customersvc@cstflightservices.com.

The link for the webinar is finally available. This is a truly unique opportunity to get the information directly from the source. Eric Rodriguez and Drew Wescott from CBP General Aviation headquarters will be participating on the CBP side, you can't get better information than this.

Just a reminder that the webinar with CBP is this coming Saturday, January 06, 2024 at 09:00 am Central Time

Eric Rodriguez and Drew Wescott from CBP General Aviation headquarters will be participating along with Laura Herrmann of the FAA Safety Team and myself.

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from CBP and to hear them review what is required to depart and arrive in the USA on an international general aviation private flight, and to answer some of the questions that have been submitted by pilots already.

Please note that with only 1 hour available, they will not be able to answer ALL of the questions being asked. However, many of the questions already submitted are similar in nature and the objective is to address those in the webinar plus any additional questions that time will allow.

Don’t forget to register here!
