Mexico recently approved a new immigration law which includes the implementation of an electronic notification system to report information on the vessel, crew and passengers of any PRIVATE aircraft or boat travelng to or from Mexico. The law states that the details of how this is implemented are specified in the regulations of the law. However, these regulations have notyet been published. Nonetheless, notices have begun to appear at some airports in Mexico with the publication of the fines that will apply for failing to properly submit the information. Fines range from US$ 4,600 to US$ 46,000.

More details to follow as soon as we have them.
