USA COVID-19 Testing Requirements for Arrival. (US Citizens) –

As of November 8th, 2021, US Authorities have published the following requirements for US Citizens to fly to the US from an International destination:

Before boarding a flight to the US, you are required to show one of the following:
  • If you are fully vaccinated*: Proof of vaccination and a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 3 days before travel.
  • If you are NOT fully vaccinated: A negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel.
  • If you recently (less than 90 days) recovered from COVID-19: documentation of recovery.
  • Air Crew Members: The Presidential Proclamation and CDC’s Order do NOT apply to crew members on official duty, provided that they follow industry standard protocols for the prevention of COVID-19 as set forth in relevant Safety Alerts for Operators (SAFO 20009).
  • Children under 2 years old do not need to provide a negative test result.


*You are fully vaccinated: 2 weeks (14 days) after an accepted single-dose vaccine or 2 weeks (14 days) after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series, with a vaccine approved by the FDA.

If any of the passengers on board are NOT US Citizens, please note that different requirements may apply.
