As a result of a request made by a general aviation (GA) coalition formed by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), National Air Transportation Association (NATA), and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) agreed to provide flexibility for the requirements for proof of Negative COVID-19 test for all air passengers arriving in the United States.
CDC has agreed to allow the use of self (home) tests that comply with CDC's requirements.
The CDC advises to verify the requirements of the destination country before travelling, since some countries could restrict the importation of unauthorized or unregistered tests.
