All pilots should note that the Control Tower in Marsh Harbour (MYAM) is now operational. The Control Tower frequency is q18.6 and the tower is open M-F 1400-2230 UTC. The tower also has an ATIS on frequency 127.65.
The airspace around the airport has been reclassified to Class D SFC TO 1500 ft AMSL within a 15 NM radius of the airport

Ever since Hurricane Dorian struck The Bahamas, the control tower at the Marsh Harbour International Airport (MYAM) has been out of service. Pilots are reminded that the Common Traffic Advisory Frequency in MYAM is 122.8 as the tower frequency is inoperative
