The US Department of Transportation has announced that starting October 13, 2020, all private charter flights between the US and all Cuban airports, including Havana (MUHA) will be suspended.

The exceptions to this resolution are "authorized public charter flights to and from Havana and other authorized private charter flights for emergency medical purposes, search and rescue, and other travel deemed in the interest of the United States".
