As every year, the number of operations increases significantly during these months.

While it is a season to exercise patience and expect delays; preparing in advance may help reduce stress and waiting times.

Remember to bring all your original ARROW documents (yes, that includes the Radio Station License and Radio Operator Permit) and to confirm fuel availability in advance.

We have gathered some first-hand information about the status of operations at some of the busiest airports this season:

MMPR - GA Ramp is full. No overnight GA parking. NOTAM in effect.
A7992/19 - ON GENERAL AVIATION APRON, OVERNIGHT ARE PROHIBITIED. 22 DEC 19:00 2019 UNTIL 06 JAN 18:00 2020. CREATED: 22 DEC 18:52 2019

In addition, priority (fueling, customs & immigration processing, landing, etc.) will be given to the airlines from 12:00 to 17:00 local time.

MMUN - FBO saturated, delays in fueling and limited ground transportation. Highly recommended to fuel on arrival or one day prior to avoid delays on days of departure. As of Dec 29th, passengers should allow up to 2 hours to be able to depart.

MMSL - High season began on November 20th, 2019 and is expected to last through January 10th. During this time some of the FBO fees have increased.

MROC - Ramp is full. Even if you request parking in advance, you may be placed on a waiting list; this does not guarantee that parking will be available for your operation but, if you are lucky enough, a space may open up for you to park.

MWCR - Arrival and departure slots assignment has been implemented from November 18th, 2019 to March 31st, 2020.
