US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has added Aruba as an additional point of pre-clearance for flights headed to the USA. You will need to fly under IFR, fly above 12,500 and land at a pre-authorized port in the USA. In other words, pre-clearance does not mean that you will enter the USA as a domestic flight. Suitable airports for first landing in the USA will require the ability to handle international garbage.

The service is available from 1200 UTC to 2100 UTC or from 1300 UTC to 2100 UTC during daylight savings time. Pre-clearance needs to be arranged at least 48 hours in advance at +297 5882465 or +297 5882467
