Several airport in Mexico are reporting problems with AVGAS quality and are unable to dispense fuel. Oaxaca (MMOX), Bahias de Huatulco (MMBT) and Zacatecas (MMZC) are unable to dispense AVGAS at this time until quality testing is complete. It is unclear when this will actually occur, if it will occur.

If there is an AVGAS quality issue affecting supply, it is very possible that more airports in Mexico could be affected. Therefore, it is even more imperative that you determine fuel availability before planning to fly to any Mexican airport where you plan to refuel.
The problem with AVGAS supply has spread to other airports. Pilots should verify AVGAS availability before flying to any Mexican airport to avoid being stranded without fuel.
We continue to receive report of AVGAS availability issues due to the fuel quality problems. Be sure to verify quantity and quality before committing to a Mexican airport.

Just to let everyone know, I live in Huatulco (MMBT) and have my plane here there is Avgas here and has been since November 2017 Same as Oaxaca (MMOX) and Puerto Escondido (MMPS) I have made several trips there with no issues getting AvGas. But a good idea to check first as they have been known to run out from time to time.
