CBP at KLAX has implemented a specific set of requirements in order to obtain Landing Rights.

This special requirement applies to both Part 135 (Charter) and Part 91 (Private flight) Operations. Failure to submit the required information may cause delays or denial of your request.

The landing rights requests must be e-mailed to the Landing Rights office at landingrights-lax@dhs.gov . The Landing Rights Office will answer with confirmation that the request has been received and that approval of landing rights should be forthcoming.

Part 91 landing rights requests must include the following information:
-e-APIS Confirmation Number
-Name of requestor
-Requesting company
-Requesting company phone number
-Requesting company email address (corporate vs. personal)
-Aircraft operator name
-Operator phone number
-Date of arrival to KLAX (local date)
-ETA (local time)
-FBO
-Tail number
-Number of passengers
-Number of crew
-Routing of flight (four letter code)
-Last date of departure from the Unites States

Part 135 landing rights requests must include the following information:
-e-APIS Confirmation Number
-Name of requestor
-Requesting company
-Requesting company phone number
-Requesting company email address (corporate vs. personal)
-Aircraft operator company name
-Operator phone number
-Date of arrival to KLAX (local date)
-ETA (local time)
-FBO
-Tail number
-Number of passengers
-Number of crew
-Carrier code and flight number
-Routing of flight (four letter code)
-Type 3 bond number for at least $100,000

If using a Southern Border Overflight Exemption (BOE), indicate the tail number under which each crew member maybe located.

Modifications and cancelations may also be made via e-mail at landingrights-lax@dhs.gov

Please be advised that submitting a landing rights request does not constitute approval of landing rights at LAX. An email will be sent when landing rights are granted.
