Overview & Pricing

Enjoy blue skies and perfect weather, beautiful scenery and a wonderful selection of activities, destinations as well as great food and comfortable lodging. Caribbean Sky Tours leads the trip, processes all the paperwork and documents, arranges lodging, meals and tours and provides assistance throughout the entire trip. Our first flight is to San Felipe, Baja California, where we will clear customs and immigration, have a typical Mexican lunch and continue on to our first destination: The peaceful Bay of Loreto located on the Sea of Cortes.

LORETO
The Mission of our Lady of Loreto, which this destination is named after, was founded by Jesuits in 1697. Loreto is considered to be the “Head and Mother” of all missions founded along a trail stretching through the Californias ending in Sonoma. Tourism in Loreto has developed slowly which has allowed the town to preserve its peaceful atmosphere and captivating charm. A recommended optional half day tour is to Coronado Island located in the Loreto Bay National Marine Park. Loreto has recently obtained the status of “Magic Village”.

DAY TRIP TO RANCHO SAN CRISTOBAL FOR WHALE WATCHING
We will be landing on the dirt airstrip right next to the water at Rancho San Cristobal early in the morning and taking a boat ride into San Ignacio Lagoon to admire the beautiful, friendly giants. After a local lunch we fly back to Loreto in the afternoon.

DAY TRIP TO CIUDAD CONSTITUCION
For all those interested in local agriculture, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn about local farming activities and processing of asparagus and oranges.

CABO SAN LUCAS
A change of pace as we head down to lively Cabo San Lucas which has much to offer in terms of shopping, gastronomy and golden sand beaches. Here you can enjoy the beach, stroll around the picturesque marina and take a boat ride to the famous Arch that marks Land’s End on the Baja Peninsula.

DAY TRIP TO TODOS SANTOS
This unique oasis located in the Baja desert was distinguished as a “Magic Village” by the Mexican Tourism Secretary in 2006. Todos Santos was first established as a Jesuit outpost in 1723 and by 1733 officially became the Mission of Santa Rosa del Pilar de Todos Santos. Urban legend has it that Todos Santos’ Hotel California was the place that inspired the Eagles 1977 hit song by the same name. Traditionally a prosperous agricultural area, today Todos Santos is surrounded by fruit orchards and vegetable farms. Because of its uniqueness and relaxed atmosphere it has become home to many artists.
